OCEAN REEF RESORT AND MARINA

A quiet passage from West End over to Ocean Reef.  Three hours transit across fairly smooth seas.  I love the ocean when it is like this!
We had a rather large reception of boaters greeting us at the dock on arrival.
The water temp is 85, turquoise and calm.  View from our cockpit is private and lovely.  We had a baby black spotted manta ray hanging around our cockpit all day on arrival.  What a Q T!

1st nite in was a 'meet and greet' with 'no expectation' horsd'oeuvres.
Every Monday morning Ocean Reef offers free transit into Freeport to do groceries.  Every Monday nite is a welcome party....free Bahama mama drinks plus bbq chicken, macaroni and cheese, peas and rice (staples seen regularly here)
Tuesday - bingo in the afternoon and pool tournaments.  Evening - karaoke.
Wednesday - sing along (hmmm)
Thursday - THIS week someone is doing up a lobster fest and each boater brings a potluck dish.  I'll bring a steak.  lol
And on it goes.  Because this is a resort, they have to offer the guests in the rooms some entertainment.  We can choose to go or not.  Free food and drinks is a good 'go' motivator!
